Carol is a self-taught artist and her love for the outdoors is an integral part of her watercolor paintings. While many artists prefer oils, acrylics or pastels, Carol enjoys the ever elusive effects of watercolors and it is her favorite medium.  Many of her paintings include elk, deer and other wildlife; she also enjoys painting waterfowl, barns, landscapes and seascapes.  Carol has mostly worked on private commissioned pieces but over the years she has come to realize she has been blessed with a gift and through encouragement from family and friends has started to expand her artistic horizons.  Carol’s work hangs in private collections in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Asia Pacific and across the United States.  She has had pieces selected for the Idaho Watercolor Society’s Boise Capital Rotunda display, the Idaho St. Luke’s Annual Christmas card and has also donated pieces to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation auction.  Carol was born in Montana raised in Idaho and has lived in California, Wyoming, Oregon and now resides back in the Treasure Valley.  She hopes you will enjoy viewing her website and will return often as new original paintings and Giclée prints will be posted upon completion and her featured artists will be changed on a quarterly basis.
